SIXTENNERS PLEASE SAVE THE EARTH!!!THIS IS NOT A JOKE.THIS IS SERIOUS!!!!
Saturday, 29 March 2008 / 13:47
dear sixtenners,
I have jus watched a documantry on global warming entitled "Six degrees can change the earth." if the temperature of the earth increase by six degress(which is the worst case scenario), the world will be changed. though it might not happen in our lifetime, no matter, please work towards saving the earth and the environment. please dont take this as a joke, please dont take this as" Oh Jin Loong just trying to talk chim like he always is trying to do so" or "Lol, its just Jin Loong and his sciency facts" I am serious. If we continue to waste resources and add on to the carbon emissions to the ozone layer, the earth's temperature will increase and the icebergs will melt and the sea levels will increase! This is very bad as the earth will be flooded and though u might think" Technology is so advanced, nothing will happen to us" but the ones who really will suffer are thoses who live in poor countries. And technology might fail us too!So please to your part to save the earth. Do as much as you can even if it means helping the slightest bit. Even a small light from your TV at the on/off button uses electricity. If the whole of america switches off their televisions properly without that small light shining for one year, 80 power plants in the world can be closed down. This is to shpw even if its a small thing, it can still help! Try to spread the message to others so that they too will know the importance of saving the earth. Spare a thought for the environment and go green!
I know this post is a little formal but it is important!
